The free trial

InterDirector runs for 14 days on each Mac without a licence. Everything is unlocked during that time: every input, every output, streaming, recording, replay, the lot. Program carries a small TRIAL VERSION mark while it runs, so it is clear when you are watching a trial.

Starting it

Open InterDirector → Licence… from the menu and press Start Free Trial, or do the same from the startup window if it offers it. The trial starts the moment you press it, not when you install InterDirector.

While it runs

The Licence window shows how many days are left. Nothing else changes: every input, output and feature behaves the same as with a paid licence, aside from the mark on Program.

When it ends

Once the 14 days are up, InterDirector still opens, and you can keep working on a Show, but the outputs that go to the world are refused: streaming, recording Program, recording inputs, NDI output, SDI output and the external Program window. Replay keeps working. Press Buy Licence…, in the Licence window or in the alert that a refused output shows, when you are ready.
