Capture a clip
Press Capture to store the last few seconds of Program into whichever bucket is selected. The number beside the button — 10 seconds by default — is how many; change it before you press if you need more or less this time.
Play it back
- Play Clip, from a clip’s own menu, plays that one clip.
- Play Bucket plays every clip in the selected bucket, one after another.
- Play All plays every clip in every bucket.
Between clips, Crossfade sets how long one dissolves into the next, from a tenth of a second to five.
Over Program, or instead of it
Turn on Play as overlay to have a replay play over whatever is on Program, rather than taking it — the same choice a regular overlay makes, and it gets the same Layer picker (1 to 4) once it is on, so you can decide what sits on top if something else is playing too. Leave it off and playing a clip takes Program outright, like cutting or fading to any other source.
Organising clips
From a clip’s own menu: Move Up and Move Down reorder it within its bucket, and Move to Bucket… sends it to a different one.
