Web pages as inputs

A Web input renders a page live, at a frame rate you choose, and can optionally sit over other sources with a transparent background.

Add one

Press Add Input…, choose Web, and enter the page’s Address — the full address including https://.

Set its size and rate

Viewport is the size the page renders at, and Frame rate how often it is redrawn, in frames per second. Changing the address, viewport, frame rate or transparency restarts the page.

Transparent background

Turn on Transparent background for an overlay-style page — a graphic with nothing behind its own content — so it composites over whatever is behind it instead of showing as a solid colour. Leave it off for an ordinary web page: a page whose own background is transparent paints nothing there, and it will disappear against Program.

Signing in

Press Interact… to open the page and use it directly — to sign in, or to set anything up that the page itself needs. The session is shared with the live input, so what you sign into stays signed in.

Reload refreshes the page normally; Hard Refresh ignores whatever the page has cached, for when a change on the page’s own end is not showing up.
